Rowen village stands on an old drovers' route which once took cattle from Anglesey all the way to the cattle markets in England.
These days Rowen is a quiet, picturesque village full of quirky old cottages with the Afon Roe, a tributary of the River Conwy, flowing down behind the houses.

Nestled in the Conwy Valley surrounded by the countryside of the Snowdonia National Park you will find Ash Cottage in the small village of Rowen You do not have to travel far to discover for yourself what the Snowdonia and the North Wales Coastline has to offer. Short breaks available (3 nights weekends or 4nights midweek) between October and March excluding bank holidays and October and February Half Term.
