Glyn Isa Cottages are situated very close to many varied attractions. Conwy Castle and the walls offer a birdseye view of the harbour and Deganwy.
Bodnant Gardens, run by the National Trust, is well worth a visit with the laburnum arch flowering May/June.
Anglesey and the famous Menai Straits is within 30 minutes drive. Bangor Pier is also a hidden jem well worth a visit.
Betws-Y-Coed offers excellent walking with the beautiful Swallow falls.

The Roman Road above Rowen is part of the route from the Roman Fort of Segontium in Caernarfon to the Fort at Deva (Chester). The route is 74 (Roman) miles long with stations at the forts of Canovium (Caerhun on the banks of the Conwy River) and Varis (presumed to be St Asaph on the banks of the River Elwy).
